Day 1: Fez – Ifrane – Midelt – Erfoud –  Merzouga

We will start our fascinating trip across the southeast to Merzouga via Azro, Arfoud and Errachidia.

We will firstly stop by Ifran that is known as «Moroccan Switzerland» where you can enjoy the memorable warm buildings and take photos around the lake contoured by the green garden, and then we will continue our trip to Merzouga via Midlet and Ziz Valley. During your tour you will enjoy middle and higher Atlas Mountains glazes.

Stopping by the largest famed cedar forest in Morocco where you can see barbarian apes playing around you.

During the trip you will observe the changeable scenery (from grass to sands) and weather (fresh, cold to hot) preparing you visually and physically to discover and be a part of the fantastic desert world.

After lunch we will proceed along the luxurious Ziz Valley, stopping by the panoramic views along the way to take memorable photos. We will drive through welcoming Berber villages, the foundation of alaouite dynasty – the current ruling royal family in Morocco.

Reaching Merzouga at the end of the day, you will get served with a glass of mint tea before checking up your Hotel/Riad.

After few minutes of relaxing in Merzouga we will go to have a camel adventurous ride in the sand dunes.

We will spend the night in a well equipped camp with traditional drums music in the middle of the Sahara (desert) after seeing the sunset from a high dune to spend the night in a nomad tents.

Day 2: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi – Midelt – Ifrane – Fez

Early in the morning after taking your nap, you will discover what has been given the name of the best sunrise of a whole life experience. Thereafter you will get back to Merzouga village, throughout the way you will be amazed and breathlessly fascinated by the stunning view of Erg Chebbi sand dunes with its changeable light colors during the progress of the day.

After breakfast in your Riad/Hotel you will go back to Fes via Errachidia, Ziz Valley ending up in Fes directly in your Hotel/Riad.
