4 Days from Fes to Marrakech via Marzouga – Erg Chebbi
Day 1: Fes- Ifran- Azrou- Cedar Forest- Midlet- Erfoud- Merzouga
In this journey we have a full travel day through the diverse landscapes that make Morocco the uniquest before passing by the Cedar and pine forests, keeping an eye out for Barbary apes, going over the Middle Atlas Mountains through the pre-desert countryside with its deep gorges filled with marvelous oasis of green palm groves, finally arriving to the sand dunes of the sahara desert.
You will spend the night in a desert auberge (hotel) located right on the edge of the dunes, where we will have dinner the local-style and spend the night.
P.S: All the rooms have bathroom, shower, at the desert Hostel.
Day 2: Merzouga area- Dezert barber camp.
You will have a free day until we go out to ride our camel for a late afternoon safari.
In the morning you will have an excellent opportunity to discover and explore the wavy golden sands, relax in the pool or just read a book in the cool couch area.
We also provide you with an optional activity of a 4×4 safari into the wavy sand dunes of the Sahara (desert).

We will take only what we will need for our evening, we will set off for a camel ride during one hour to our desert camp deep in the dunes.
Your local guides will teach you how to mount and dismount in addition to other camel safety tips.
Make sure of getting them to teach you how to tie your turban to keep the desert sun off your face and add a little glow to your photos.
The first sip of your mint tea, you will enjoy a glamorous welcome to our desert camp.
You will have a traditional dinner under the stars, which been cooked by your camel man, by the evening we will hear life stories of this region and we might be invited to enjoy the traditional drums music.
In each Bedouin tent sleeps specifically 4 people but the majority of people prefer to relax enjoying the sound of silence during the night under the stars.
We will provide you with mattresses, sheets and blankets (in case you choose to travel in winter months (November-April), we highly recommend a sleeping bag for additional warmth.
We will have breakfast upon our return to Merzouga hostel.
Day 3: Merzouga- Todra Gorges- Dades Valley.
Early in the morning after your camel man has woken you up to see the magical sunrise, you will peacefully camel-trek back to Merzouga getting fabulously amazed by the outstanding Erg Chebbi dunes that changes its colors during the day progress.
After breakfast in your Riad we will leave for Rissani, Tinghir, and Todra gorges – the highest tightest gorges in Morocco, where you can hike for an hour around the valley to meet locals and learn about the culture and geography.
After lunch in the heart of the gorge, you will continue to the Dades Valley, where you will see the Majestic sand castles and the amazing rock sculpted forms known as “monkey toes”.
You will spend your night at Dades gorge Hotel.
Day 4: Dades Valley- Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou- Tiz n’Tichka pass- Marrakech.
In the morning we will continue along the “Route of a 1000 Kasbahs “to Ouarzazate where we will take our lunch break. We continue on to Ait Ben Haddou’s Village which is a marvelous example of the collection of 1000 Kasbahs (a type of fortress).
Accurately restored over decades to be classified now as a UNESCO world Heritage Site, it is considered to be one of the best preserved Kasbah villages in Morocco.
A few families still call the Kasbah their home.
During our visit to the Kasbah, you can lose yourself in the narrow, winding the pathway to feel the fantastic atmosphere of this magical structure.
We will continue by the charming Tizi n’ Tichka Pass to descend past the ravishing mountain villages, dense woods and amazingly green fields to the red colored Marrakech city.
